Stage 2 Paint Correction: Perfect Your Paint

Our Stage 2 Paint Correction is designed to remove 80% + of the defects on your paint including paint swirls, scratches, fading, haze, and all the other imperfections! The process is very laborious, time-consuming, and meticulous and will take several hours to complete but no worries, we’re here for you! In this process, we break it down into a cutting stage and a polishing stage in order to produce the highest level of paint gloss and clarity for your vehicle.

Prior to doing any work to the vehicle, we do a critical inspection of the vehicle’s current condition and analyze which defects will be removable and which aren’t. An example of the damage that cannot be removed is deep scratches, in other words, scratches that have already surpassed the clear coat of your paint. This is where our assessment and knowledge comes in on knowing when to treat damaged clear coat and when not to stop in order to ensure your vehicle isn’t going to be damaged even more!

The Stage 2 paint correction includes:

  • Vehicle pretreatment to breakdown and remove embedded contaminants before the touch wash process

  • Wheel Decontamination - We apply a pH-balanced wheel cleaner to break down the harsh contaminants, foam up each wheel and detail the wheel barrels, fender liners, wheel faces and scrub the tires

  • Snow Foam Bath and Vehicle Hand Wash

  • Apply Iron & Tar Remover, and Clay Bar the entire vehicle to remove all the contaminants on your paint to get it down to the cleanest possible.

  • Stage 1 Machine cutting using a compound to remove major swirls, paint fade, and haze

  • Stage 2 Machine polish using a finishing polish to remove leftover defects from the first stage highly increasing gloss & clarity to an excellent paint condition

  • IPA Wipedown to remove any leftover compound/polish residue

  • Apply protection of choice wax, sealant, or ceramic coating
